Directions For Use:

For Preventive / Continual System Protection

  • LubriTect™ can be added to a non-contaminated or safe system and will continually protect from light acid contamination.
  • Test system for acid contamination.
  • If system is safe, use the application chart on back to determine the number of bottles of LubriTect™ required for light contamination.
  • Add LubriTect™ into system’s high side or liquid line with a refrigeration oil charging pump or additive injection tool. Flush all LubriTect™ into system by following with a small amount of refrigeration oil. Do not overfill system.
  • Return system to service.

NOTE: Not effective against gross contamination as the amount of LubriTect™ in the system could be overwhelmed by extremely high acid/moisture content.

For Systems With Acid Contamination Without Compressor Burnout:

  • Replace driers and replace lubricant if necessary.
  • Using the application chart on back, determine the number of bottles of LubriTect™ required depending on degree of contamination, light or heavy.
  • Follow steps 6 & 7 below.

For Compressor Burnout:

  • Remove and properly dispose of used refrigerant and lubricant.
  • Determine cause of burnout.
  • Flush system with suitable flushing solvent.
  • Using the application chart on back, determine the number of bottles of LubriTect™ required for heavy contamination.
  • Change out compressor, driers and other required components. Charge with proper amount of lubricant, evacuate and charge with refrigerant.
  • Add LubriTect™ into system’s high side or liquid line with a refrigeration oil charging pump or additive injection tool. Flush all LubriTect™ into the system by following with a small amount of refrigeration oil. Do not overfill system.
    After several days of operation, verify system is acid free. Re-treat if needed.
