Color Coded Cooling Water Treatment

Hydro-Treat utilizes polymerphosphonates for scale control; corrosion control is maintained by the formation of a protective molybdenum film on metal surfaces. Hydro-Treat also contains dispersants and peptizing agents to keep heat transfer surfaces free of insoluble materials such as silt, sand and airborne particles.

Hydro-Treat makes cooling water treatment dosage a simple matter of matching colors. Addition of Hydro-Treat will turn circulating water blue. Treatment levels are easily maintained by using Hydro-Treat color coded visual test strips.

Directions For Use:

Hydro-Treat may be fed either by the use of plastic feeding pumps or in slug doses. Normal dosage of Hydro-Treat will range between 200 and 300 ppm in circulating water. (Approximately 1 quart per 1000 gallons of water.)

CONTROL:
Use Hydro-Treat color coded test strips to match color of circulating water. Over treatment is not harmful. Be sure Hydro-Treat is thoroughly mixed in circulating water before testing. Maintain adequate bleed off rate.
