HYDRO-TREAT
Description
Color Coded Cooling Water Treatment
Color Coded Cooling Water Treatment
HYDRO-TREAT utilizes polymerphosphonates for scale control; corrosion control is maintained by the formation of a protective molybdenum film on metal surfaces. HYDRO-TREAT also contains dispersants and peptizing agents to keep heat transfer surfaces free of insoluble materials such as silt, sand and airborne particles.
HYDRO-TREAT makes cooling water treatment dosage a simple matter of matching colors. Addition of HYDRO-TREAT will turn circulating water blue. Treatment levels are easily maintained by using HYDRO-TREAT color coded visual test strips.
- Easy to use
- Controls scale and corrosion
- Eliminates complicated testing procedures
- Economical, 1 qt. per 1,000 gal.
- Biodegradable
- No chromates or heavy metals
- Non-volatile
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
HYDRO-TREAT may be fed either by the use of plastic feeding pumps or in slug doses. Normal dosage of HYDRO-TREAT will range between 200 and 300 ppm in circulating water. (Approximately 1 quart per 1000 gallons of water.)
CONTROL:
Use HYDRO-TREAT color coded test strips to match color of circulating water. Over treatment is not harmful. Be sure HYDRO-TREAT is thoroughly mixed in circulating water before testing. Maintain adequate bleed off rate. Use HYDRO-CIDE for control of algae and microbiological fouling.
